Michael Taylor - Executive Vice President, Business Development & Strategy
Mr. Taylor is responsible for corporate sales, marketing, client services and product development at Focused Health Solutions. He serves as the primary interface between the company and its current and prospective clients and business. Mr. Taylor has an extensive executive management background, having successfully led multiple market-changing innovation and strategic growth initiatives.
Previously, Mr. Taylor was a member of the venture capital-backed management team at Lumenos, an innovator in consumer-driven healthcare. As an early advocate of the CDHC movement, he contributed to the rapid growth of Lumenos before its acquisition by WellPoint in 2005. He also served in senior management positions at LifeMasters, a national disease management company, and at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), a $7 billion global healthcare company.
Mr. Taylor is a nationally recognized speaker on the subjects of healthcare consumerism and employer cost containment, and is a former award-winning political journalist with Congressional Quarterly and with U.S. News & World Report. He earned his MA from the University of Maryland, a BA from Flagler College, and completed postgraduate work at Fudan University in Shanghai, China. Mr. Taylor is conversant is Mandarin Chinese.
Heather Knowles - Vice President, Information Services & Technology
Ms. Knowles is responsible for FHS’ information technology and analytics services. Ms. Knowles has decades of experience collecting and analyzing patient data, developing reporting models, and reducing medical expenses through sophisticated claims recovery processes for large health plans and employers. She is a certified project manager from the Project Management Institute and is the project sponsor for FHS' FIT application and business intelligence/reporting initiative.
Tammy Welbourn - Vice President, Operations
Ms. Welbourn is responsible for the operational oversight and clinical quality of FHS’ programs. Ms Welbourn has over 10 years of prior experience in telephonic clinical care delivery, triage, disease management, wellness, and pharmacy support. Prior to joining Focused Health Solutions, Ms. Welbourn served as the Area Vice President of Operations at Matria Healthcare and as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations for McKesson Medical Management Group.
Sudhir Kalavagunta - Director, Information Services & Technology
Mr. Kalavagunta has over a decade of Information Technology experience in Healthcare, Financial and Business process outsourcing industries. Mr. Kalavagunta helps drive technology strategy and direction to meet FHS business operations. He is responsible for overseeing application development and technology infrastructure at FHS and also serves as the HIPAA Security Officer to ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements.
